Here’s a witchy woman to enjoy for your friday 13th.

working on some character turn-arounds for these feisty ladies and this is a preview of what i have so far. you may have seen them here. i’m trying to figure out a style that would work for well for animating since i’m cooking up a plot for these gals.

2 ghoul 4 skool

I’ve been cooking up some stories to go along with these wicked little girls so you might just see ‘em around.

I watched In Time the other day. To fully enjoy your experience take a drink when anyone says the word “time”. You don’t have to really worry about paying attention anyway. The writers made sure to reinforce every character to talk about time and sometimes say it in a pun-y manner..

Anyway.

The costumes in the movie were really great. They were futuristic but minimal and classy as shit. I dug the waitress’ outfits.

The concept presents an interesting enough world to pull the weight of the cheesiness and make this still a fun movie. Later though, it kinda turns into a Bonnie and Clyde movie when the characters just start robbing banks and shootin’ cops.

So they rob banks in their bank robbing couture outfits. I really loved this chick’s business-in-the-front party-in-the-back jacket. Also their time was displayed on their arm so they’d have to cover it up to secure privacy but it gave everyone an excuse to wear awesome long gloves.

There’s a lot of unintentional comedy going on. One my favs goes like this:

JT and the girl he kidnapped (but then later falls in love and learns she enjoys a life a crime) just saw their mugshots on the news.

“It doesn’t say your wanted.”

“It doesn’t say I’m not,” she beautifully rebutted.”You’ve forgotten—I shot a cop.”

“Was that your first?” JT replied, pretty much confirming he’s a cop killer as well.

I  did enjoy this movie for what it was. But I mostly wish JT would return to music and bring sexy back again.
